We are thrilled to announce that Operation Casa Rosa is in the works, and we will send a group of 20, including veterans, leadership, first responders, and a select team from our sponsor to Ensenada, Mexico, over Memorial Day weekend 2024. Our legacy program Vetstarts Mission Adventures, is officially rebooted and will now be called Vetstarts Mission Builders. This incredible camaraderie and team-building experience is unmatched and provides healing and generational change for the family living in abject poverty and for the volunteer builders. We show up to a concrete slab and build a home for the selected family in two days. The home and water tower we build next year will be dedicated in honor of our late founder and my father, MAJ Vince Leone, US Army. Over Memorial Day Weekend this year, a couple of Board Members and spouses teamed up with Homes of Hope Tijuana and QMissions to do a "recon" mission to champion and pilot our reboot. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the QMissions Team, guests, and USMC Sgt. Aaron Quinonez's program, "Healing thru Service."
