OUTDOOR EVENT PENDING WEATHER - We will wait until 24 hours our to make a call if this workshop needs to be rescheduled due to wacky weather.

We will host an art/writing/mindfulness workshop for an hour or so, share what we observed as a group, and then whoever wants to stick around for a light hike afterwards is welcome!

Nature Journaling is a great technique to ground yourself. You can use words, art... whatever you wish. You simply sit, reflect, log your thoughts or simply enjoy being present in the moment. You'll love it.

Space is limited to 10, you must RSVP to participate!

We will meet in the parking lot at Shari Capehart Nature Preserve and wait for all registered attendees to arrive. We will then take a very light walk down to the small ampitheatre by the pond. Suggested Gear to Pack in:

• Backpack
• Water Bottle - we will bring back up to refill/replenish your supply.
• Comfy Shoes
• Layers (clothing)
• Sunscreen/Hat
• Snacks (all trash must be packed out)

**We will bring all the supplies needed for you to learn how to Nature Journal, however, if you have a sketch book, journal or any other favorite art supplies to break in or show off, bring them! We will not be bringing acrylic or oil painting gear to this specific workshop. Our supply will be easy to pack materials consisting mostly of art pencils, watercolors, loose paper and markers.**
